About Dr. Agbé
Dr. Narcisse Agbé is a Medical Doctor and Director of Operations at ACONDA VS-CI, with over 10 years of experience in global health security in Côte d’Ivoire. Since 2025, he has served as a national 7-1-7 trainer, bringing expertise in surveillance and emergency management to the implementation of the 7-1-7 approach across Côte d’Ivoire and francophone Central and West Africa.
Why he’s nominated
Dr. Agbé has been a pioneer and driving force behind building the capacity needed to turn 7-1-7 into real, on-the-ground change––in Côte d’Ivoire and in francophone Central and West Africa. Through sustained training efforts and a commitment to sharing lessons learned at key regional convenings, he has equipped health systems across the region with the knowledge and tools to detect, notify, and respond to outbreaks faster. His work has helped expand the community of practitioners who can use 7-1-7 to save lives.
